Sound test

It's time for the sound test. It will be this Friday, Dec. 14th. A study guide went home with your students today.

Moon Observation Homework: We will study the moon in January. One of the state core objectives is to have the students observe the moon for a month. We will have a new moon on Wednesday. The moon will start to appear again on Thursday or Friday. I am sending a moon calendar home with your students this week. They need to look at the moon everyday and draw what they see. I'm including a moonrise and moonset schedule, so they'll know what time to look. If it's cloudy, they can draw a cloud. This will only take a few minutes each day. The calendar is due January 20th.

I'm also sending a heat, light and sound study guide home. We have taken individual tests on these subjects, but will take one covering all three on Jan. 7th.
