Sound test

It's time for the sound test. It will be this Friday, Dec. 14th. A study guide went home with your students today.

Moon Observation Homework: We will study the moon in January. One of the state core objectives is to have the students observe the moon for a month. We will have a new moon on Wednesday. The moon will start to appear again on Thursday or Friday. I am sending a moon calendar home with your students this week. They need to look at the moon everyday and draw what they see. I'm including a moonrise and moonset schedule, so they'll know what time to look. If it's cloudy, they can draw a cloud. This will only take a few minutes each day. The calendar is due January 20th.

I'm also sending a heat, light and sound study guide home. We have taken individual tests on these subjects, but will take one covering all three on Jan. 7th.

Light Test

There will be a light test on Tuesday, Dec. 8th. The study guide went home today. Please help your child study if you can. There is a coupon on the bottom of the study guide. If someone at home helps their child study and signs the coupon, they can bring it back the day of the test for bonus points.
